Atatürk Forest Farm is a unique spatial application representing the principle of creating a new society, the basic philosophy that prevailed in the foundation of the Republic of Türkiye, as an urban farm, which combined the practices of modern agriculture and industrial production with recreational activities. That is why considering it as a piece of land or heritage only would be a reductive approach at best. The book reveals that comparable examples in terms of spatial experiences in other countries are few and far between. It notes that, in this context the existence of Atatürk Forest Farm should be considered as an intentional contribution regarding the cultural transformation of the nation, and describes its unique experience as a means to achieve cultural transformation.
