The project titled “Towards the 100th Anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye: The Fifty-Year Diplomatic Relations between Turkish and Foreign Missions in Çankaya-Ankara (1920-1970)  funded by the European Union under the Grant Scheme for Common Cultural Heritage: Preservation and dialogue between Türkiye and the EU–II (CCH-II).

The project coordinated by Dr. Koray Özalp from Ankara Philately and Urban Studies Society .Koç University Vehbi Koç Ankara Studies Research Center (VEKAM), Bilkent University’s Department of History, Rahmi M. Koç Museum Ankara, Çankaya Municipality and Bulgarian Philately Union, have participated and contributed to the project as co-applicants.

Within the scope of the project, 2 publication in Turkish and English are published. A conference that intended to shed light on diplomatic relations and missions in Ankara and an exhibition titled Diplomatic Missions in Ankara  had held on May 12th 2022 at the Çankaya Municilality’s Doğan Taşdelen Contemporary Arts Center. As part and one of the assets of the project the documentary film titled; Behind the Walls  has screened on May 24th , 2022 at the the Çankaya Municilality’s Doğan Taşdelen Contemporary Arts Center. Within the scope of the project the exhibition is carried to Macedonia in July 2022.
