World Anthropology Day, which has been celebrated as an international day since 2016, aims to emphasis the importance of the discipline of anthropology and to share the scientific knowledge produced by this field with the world.

In this context, IDEA lab (Hacettepe University Human Behavioral Ecology and Archaeometry Laboratory) aims to contribute to the dissemination of knowledge produced by the discipline of Anthropology, with the events that will be organized between 5-7 May, 2023 with the contributions of supporting institutions, including Koç University’s VEKAM. As part of AnthroDayAnkara events, which will be celebrated for the first time in Turkey, Koç University VEKAM will host an in person conference on May 5, 2023 at Ankara Orchard House.
