Koç University VEKAM would like to announce the symposium titled From Ancient Times to Present: Urban Space and Culture of Landscape Sympoisum convened by Prof. Dr. Billur Tekkök Karaöz from Başkent University.

Vehbi Koç Foundation, established on January 17, 1969 as Türkiye’s first private foundation with significant contributions to the fields of education, culture and health will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2019 around the theme of ‘philanthropy’.

Starting from 2016, Koç University Vehbi Koç Ankara Studies Research Center and the University of Cambridge’s Skiliter Centre for Ottoman Studies agreed to start a joint three year project on the Socio-Economic History of Anatolia in the Ottoman Period. The Project consists of
